LastPass Authenticator provides convenient two-factor authentication for your LastPass account and other compatible apps. It offers easy verification with just one tap and secure cloud backup, ensuring your security without any hassle.

Enhance Your Security
Protect your LastPass account by enabling two-factor authentication, which adds an extra layer of security to your digital identity. Even if your password gets compromised, unauthorized access to your account is impossible without the two-factor authentication code.

You can even designate a device as "trusted," so you won't be prompted for codes on that device while still benefiting from the protection of two-factor authentication.

Setting Up LastPass Authenticator
<ol>
 <li>Download LastPass Authenticator to your mobile device.</li>
 <li>Login to LastPass on your computer and go to "Account Settings" in your vault.</li>
 <li>In "Multifactor Options," edit LastPass Authenticator and view the barcode.</li>
 <li>Scan the barcode with the LastPass Authenticator app.</li>
 <li>Customize your preferences and save your changes.</li>
</ol>

LastPass Authenticator can also be enabled for any service or app that supports Google Authenticator or TOTP-based two-factor authentication.

Logging In
<ol>
 <li>Open the app to generate a 6-digit, 30-second code or approve/deny automated push notifications.</li>
 <li>Alternatively, receive an SMS code.</li>
 <li>Enter the code into the login prompt on your device or approve/deny the request.</li>
